It was at the beginning of the 80s when I saw my first Apple. I WANTED ONE BADLY. Unfortunately it was so expensive I would have had to stop eating for a year to get the deposit. Instead I sent off for a Sinclair ZX81. Oh the thrill of have 16k of memory to play with. I started messing with the graphics. I thought it wonderful you could make a mistake and not worry. I remember doing a picture of the comic character Judge Dredd. I sent it off to the comic (2000AD) and it was printed! They actually sent me some money as a reward (the only time I have ever been paid for artwork). Since that day I have spent a lot of my free time messing around with art on computers.
After a never ending stream of computers I had enough money to buy my first Apple computer. It was an early Power Mac. I was amazed by its ease of use, graphics and design. I was smitten. Later I started hearing about an amazing program called Photoshop. I installed a trial version but it ran like a dog with three legs because of a shortage of memory. A good few years later I bought a Kodak digital camera bundle which came with Photoshop 6 for free. I installed it on my new iMac and started teaching myself how to use it. I was soon smitten. To cut a long story short I love Apple computers and Photoshop. I spend a lot of my free time using them.
At present I use a G4 (933 mhz) with 768 MB and a Formac LCD monitor.
If you would like a screen in a custom size please e-mail me and I will do my best to accommodate you. Be warned this is not possible with the first one hundred screens because I no longer have the original files.
